At the Faiman's

After the lab, we continued South to Sde Boker. Actually, before the lab, we also drove around Ramot in Beer Sheva and looked at it. We'll have some nice pictures of Sde Boker, but first there is the beautiful Faiman house we stayed in along with the beautiful Faiman granddaughter, Noam (Tzafrir's daughter). Thanks to Ofra and David for putting us up!

Kibbutz Lahav

My colleague Amir lives in Kibbutz Lahav, and we visited him on Friday after visiting with Mickey. It was sort of funny because his entire family was there (mother and brotehr and sister each with spouse and children) so we were sort of in the way. On the other hand, I got to meet Amir's family which was very nice, and we were both impressed by how easy it (relatively speaking) to have 12 guests to Friday night dinner if you live on a Kibbutz. Amir is in one picture, and his wife in the other. Also, Liya in front of the dining hall with Mikael.

By the way, the kibbutz is really beautiful and we saw lots of cool stuff there. Sometimes, blogging about Mikael can make me seem a little bit myopic.
