MOSI
The Museum of Science and Industry is right near the USF campus, and not far from Savta Rina and Saba Emi's home. Saba Emi, Doda Ayala, Aba Opher, and Baby Mikael all went visiting. First, we watched an amazing IMAX movie about fish and other underwater creatures. Mikael was really excited about it, and how huge it was, although he didn't make it all the way through.
In the IMAX theater:
This picture was actually taken by Mikael.
Stomping on that red button sent a rocket flying into the air. Mikael and Aba Opher both had to try it, although Mikael was probably too small and Aba Opher probably too big.
In the store, Doda Ayala play with magnets:
Mikael tests his strength and learns about levers
Her does some work on a dinosaur jaw and learns about their teeth
He drives a truck (Mikael really like to drive. In fact, he has a new favorite book called Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus)
This tube helped us conceptualize very large numbers like a million and helped Mikael conceptualize spinning cylinders.
This exhibit was meant to demonstrate air pressure (we were supposed to aim at a target and allow the air pressure to cause it to move slightly). Mikael really had fun with it as drums, though.
Dry ice!
Microscopes. Mikael was here for a while. That's Saba Emi, helping him out.
